Steward Financial has an outstanding opportunity for a Compliance Analyst to join the Holman family.

 

As a Compliance Administrator you will be responsible for assisting the team to in ensure the business procedures and practices are in compliance with established federal and various state licensing regulations

 

Essential Functions:

  • Review and perform accurate assessments and necessary corrections to the METRO II file prior to the submission to the Credit Reporting Agencies on a monthly basis
  • Compile data through the use of excel for the use by the department to assist in evaluating compliance with policies and procedures
  • Compile reports through the use of excel for the use of the department
  • Perform audits to ensure policies and procedures are being adhered to with the results presented in the form of reports for the department
  • Track and process applications and renewals for all State government licensing
  • Track and process the compliance training activities
  • Assist in the implementation of any changes to policies and procedures
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned

 

 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University

  • Understanding of Consumer Protection Laws Preferred (FCRA, TILA, FDCPA, ECOA, GLBA)

  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.)
  • Banking or Financial services industry experience in audit or regulatory affairs

  • 3-5 years compliance experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment with priorities continuously changing

  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and make appropriate decisions

  • Very detail-oriented
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills
