As a Fleet Sales Consultant you will source and sell commercial fleet vehicles to local businesses in southern New Jersey. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and meet the needs of expanding businesses and existing clients. 
  • Source prosepctive new and used truck customers
  • Assist customers in selecting/ordering trucks
  • Demonstrate new and used trucks to customers
  • Study truck and equipment specifications to improve knowledge of product performance and application 
  • Prepare and turn in to the truck Sales Manager outside sales call reports, listing who was called and what units were quoted.
  • Coordinate and deliver new trucks, explaining new-truck warranty and service policies.  
  • Attend sales and training meetings.

Qualification Criteria:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in outside sales
  • A background in automotive sales preferred but not required
  • A strong understanding of truck specs is strongly preferred
  • History of successful business network development
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Motivated by challenge and growth
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • A high level of professionalism
  • CDL is a plus, but not required.
