To provide technical support for Fleet Team, Business Development Managers and Account Executives in respect of finance lease and vehicle acquisition, incorporating administrative support for the department as required.


Reporting to: Team Leader, Fleet Team, Performance Excellence

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities 

  • Provide technical support to the Fleet Team
  • Assist with the management of suppliers, including manufacturers, dealers, data providers, multi bid lease partners, livery providers, telematics providers and up-fitters and the handling of any rebates or commission income where appropriate
  • Assist with the development of choice lists for clients company car policies
  • Ownership of our bespoke on-line car ordering system, to include the implementation of this tool with new customers
  • Administration of vehicle ordering process from initial confirmation, through to vehicle delivery and order close down, including all relevant customer updates throughout the process
  • Provision of finance lease quotations
  • Maintenance of driver data in relevant databases as required through the renewals tasks
  • Management of the vehicle return process and associated customer updates
  • Management of customer complaints, working in conjunction with the Quality team
  • General administration duties to include responding to all allocated customer enquiries, resolving where possible or escalating or referring within the team
  • Assist with the generation and analysis of reports, in respect of client needs and expectations, identifying trends, making appropriate recommendations and supporting service enhancement projects
  • Assist with the provision and supply of internal company cars, car pool fleet and demonstrator vehicles
  • Support for the Sales & Marketing team regarding bid proposal and literature content, as required
  • Ad hoc tasks as required by the business 


Person Specification 

Motivation and Experience

  • A passion and technical awareess of cars
  • Experience of fleet requirements through dealership, fleet management or similar experience
  • Complaint handling experience desired
  • Must be adept in the use of a PC, internet and email and able to grasp new software applications easily and quickly. Able to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook to an intermediate level
  • Must be numerate and literate
  • Excellent administration skills
  • Is prepared to go the ‘extra mile’ in order to achieve excellent end results
